Peyton | Fresh 48 | Palm Beach County Photographer

When I got the call from mama to be that she wanted another Fresh 48 session, I was beyond thrilled. Not because I had done her first born, not because I LOVE fresh 48 sessions, but cause she was going for her first VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean). A two time VBAC mama here so you know how much this excites me. I was able to give her all my tips and tricks to having a successful VBAC. I was in tears when I got the call that SHE DID IT, she got her VBAC to a beautiful baby girl 8lbs 5oz 21in.

Congratulations to the family!

It brings me so much joy to be able to capture all these moments for families. What was suppose to be a birth story delivery turned into a Welcome Baby Home Session. I just love these lifestyle sessions, which remove the stress over a photoshoot for families in the comfort of their own home.

Chiet Family Mini Session Winners | Palm Beach County Photographer

Coming back from maternity leave I wanted to offer my followers a chance to win a mini session. Chosen randomly here are the winners: The Chiet Family! After speaking to this mama and what she wanted out of this session I learned about Chase and his condition. A non-posed lifestyle session is what I LOVE more than anything and a perfect choice for this family. "Chase has what's called 22q11.2 deletion syndrome.  It goes by many names, but this is the one we want the public to become familiar with!  There are more than 180 symptoms associated with the syndrome and it's the second most common chromosomal abnormality to Down's syndrome.  (Kids with DS have an extra 21st chromosome, kids like Chase are missing a piece from their 22nd!)  Chase had open heart surgery at 4 months old to correct Tetralogy of Fallot and to remove a laryngeal Web.  He has a speech delay and has been in speech therapy since his 1st birthday.   He has some minor immune system issues that make him more susceptible to illness and some anxiety in new situations, but otherwise, we've been relatively lucky these last few years. I (mommy) help run The 22q Family Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to supporting families and raising awareness about 22q!" You can see that they were beyond deserving of a professional session of their family. I am happy that I got to meet this family and educated in chase's condition. But for those that know me I am not about labels and this does not define Chase because in the short time of knowing him I know this: he is sweet, handsome, and spirited!
