My gear was packed and waiting for me at the door in Greenacres. After being on call for close to three-weeks, I got the call at 2 AM from my birth client letting me know her midwife Miriam from The Palms Birth House had arrived and checked her and was 7-8cm dilated (all while she giggled). She said her doula Lori from Orchid's Nest was filling up the birthing pool and that I should probably start making my way to her house. I rushed and was out the door in 10 minutes. Knowing that this was her second baby things could go very fast. I made it to her Boca Raton home in 20 minutes. She labored beautifully like a true birth warrior. It is always such an honor to be invited to document these incredible miracles. With permission from my birth client here is the birth story.

It is always such an honor to witness life come into the world. It never gets old, I always get emotional. To witness how hard mama worked to bring her baby into her arms, to hear the first baby cries, to see that first latch, I mean I could go on an on but I'll stop here and let you witness it for yourself with the birth video below.
